If you answered yes to any of the above, check out the Beat Down Blood Pressure Video Challenge, the second in a series of Health IT video contests by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) in 2012 to inspire individuals to use technology to improve health.

Tell us in a video (under 2 minutes) how you use technology to monitor or manage blood pressure, and you could win $5,500 in cash prizes. Whether you’re a patient, a friend/family member, a caregiver, or a healthcare provider, we want to hear your story!

Some examples include personal e-health tools such as health related web sites, mobile apps, online communities, email/text reminders and other software; remote monitoring devices; and Health IT tools such as electronic health records (EHRs), personal health records (PHRs), and electronic prescribing (e-prescribing).
