    Samsung is offering $225,000 in cash and prizes for the most innovative converged apps that enable an interactive home entertainment experience between a Samsung Smart TV and at least one other screen, such as a phone, tablet, or computer.

    In 2010, Samsung introduced the first-ever TV Apps SDK. Since then, Samsung Apps has become the most popular TV app platform in the industry, with more than 1,000 apps available and over 10 million downloads to-date globally.
